MACHINIST is songwriter, singer & multi-instrumentalist Todd Legault. Hailing from the vibrant shores of Victoria, BC, Canada, MACHINIST takes the gritty, thrill of industrial rock and infuses it with a moody, restless vibe mirroring hedonistic and misanthropic themes.
The story of MACHINIST kicked off back in 1998 when Todd Legault first started crafting tracks that would eventually lead to the self-titled debut EP, released in 2006. Before diving into this project, he paid dues playing guitar in local bands in Southern Ontario, opening for notable acts like and Fishbone and Kittens. Somewhere along the line, he realized it was time to take the reins and bring the sonic vision in his head to life. The sound is a wild ride through blurry days and cracked neon nights; an electrifying mix of chaos and decay.

In 2018, the LAST COAST EP was released, followed by the first full-length album, NEVER LIVE TWICE in 2025.
